- Core algorithm design & optimization: Deep work in machine vision and control—SPNv2 pose estimation improvements, adaptive PID and closed-loop logic, deployed CKF and Butterworth low-pass filtering; addressed keypoint boundary drift and thrust ripple to meet high-precision control and measurement needs.
- Simulation & data pipelines: Built MATLAB/Simulink models for rendezvous/docking and thruster performance; generated a 100k+ synthetic-sample dataset; used Python for cleaning, visualization, parsing, and fitting to back algorithm validation and paper/patent evidence.
- Platforms & hardware bring-up: Staged high-fidelity space-target simulation and thruster health-monitoring platforms; commissioned RoboSense E1R LiDAR and stereo/depth cameras; built data-stream visualization and acquisition tooling plus technical documentation for stable operations.
- Research outputs & R&D: Co-led or contributed to seven academic papers (top aerospace conferences and EI-indexed intl. conferences) and four invention patents (all under internal institutional review), spanning vision, control, orbital maneuvers, and plume characterization—owning core technology development and results-to-practice work.
